The vines are grown in organic farming, without fertilizers or synthetic products. Weeding is done mechanically or manually, in order to respect the nature of the soil. Since 2013, the principles of biodynamics have been applied in order to promote soil life and reveal the best of the terroir.
To avoid soil compaction and erosion of the restanques, we encourage the grassing of the vines and limit the use of tractors, in favour of manual operations. Each vine is pruned, disbudded, pinched and harvested manually.
Château Canadel wines have been certified Organic since the 2018 vintage. The previous vintages are in organic conversion.
