In a tasting around the Mourvèdre organized by Niels Lillelund for the Danish national daily Jyllands Posten, the 2014 Altum obtains the maximum score of 6 stars: translation of the tasting commentary:

"Crunchy fruit, still on the youth, a very nice wine for the connoisseurs. Luxurious and concentrated mouth, sappy and wild. Possibility to drink it now, but will prove even better in a few years. Stratospheric wine."

  • Bandol Rouge Altum 2014

    The cuvee Altum comes from the highest part of Canadel’s Vineyard at 250 meters high, facing the Mediterranean sea. The soil is made of very deep clay, with calcareous rocks. At this altitude, with deep soils and a gently windy climate, the Mourvèdre gives its best, between strength and elegance.
