2020 is a very special vintage because it was the year of the pandemic, but in the vineyards we were the luckiest of the confined people ! The skies gave us enough water in the winter and a smooth summer. The Bandol Red vintage 2020 is a perfectly balanced blend of the spicy power of the Mourvèdre and the delicate juice of Cinsault. A lovely vintage to drink young or to keep for ageing.
Tasting notes
Nose
On first opening, its rich, his complex aromas are revealed : notes of riped red fruit combine with fragrances of garrigue, spices and cocoa, creating a bewitching bouquet.
Mouth
On the palate, it offers a smooth and elegant texture, with melted tannins providing a balanced structure and a long finish. The fruity flavors persist on the palate, completed by notes of licorice and black pepper.
